The latest key position in college football? It could be general manager.

Corey Phillips was a high school football assistant coach at his alma mater, Father Ryan — where he won a 1997 state championship as an all-state defensive back — when a man he first met in a Nashville barbershop told Phillips that he would hire him one day.
That man was Charles Huff, an assistant coach at Tennessee State at the time.
