After Boise beatdown, Tigers made some changes to secure win over UT Martin

The Memphis Tigers entered the Sept. 19 home game against UT Martin as a 34.5-point favorite and left Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium with a 45-21 victory.

Starting quarterback Marcus Stokes didn’t play a single snap in the fourth quarter. Backup quarterback Air Noland and third-stringer Denzel Gardner split the fourth-quarter snaps.
