Arlington pumps brakes on driver’s testing facility

Arlington voted down a new state Department of Safety project until the applicant can address several issues with the plan.

The rejection of the driver’s testing facility by the town’s Planning Commission on Tuesday, Feb. 18, came after no one representing the project attended the meeting. With no one to address the concerns, the commission voted against recommending a site plan to the suburb’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
