Upgrades to Collierville’s backup dispatch center will have huge impact — but not on the budget

Collierville’s backup dispatch center is getting a revamp without any impact on the town’s budget — a win-win situation as the town provides better service for its residents.
The Shelby County 911 board has donated $822,000 to Collierville for the upgrades to the backup site on South Houston Levee Road at Fire Station 4. Shelby County 911 often helps areas within the county make upgrades to emergency operations.
