Collierville fire chief responds to performance questions in letter

Town Administrator Molly Mehner wanted to pursue different fire leadership, according to a letter she received from Fire Chief John Selberg, where he wanted an opportunity to discuss her concerns and his plans to address them.

The letter, dated Aug. 7, was released Tuesday in response to an open records requestSelberg was placed on paid administrative leave in the evening of Monday, Aug. 10. His fate with the department has remained unclear for the past eight days since Mehner took the action against Selberg.
