Jon McCreery may no longer be an alderman in Germantown, but he’s still contributing to the community as chairman of the suburb’s Planning Commission.
Before being elected alderman in 2020, McCreery was a member of the Memphis and Shelby County Land Use Control Board for 14 years, 11 of those as chairman. Now he’s getting to serve in a similar position in his hometown.
McCreery said his business experience, time on the Land Use Control Board and living in Germantown his entire life “is hard to duplicate.
