Germantown leaders consider budget, tax increase amid ‘looming recession’

Germantown leaders will consider their $216.2 million budget on Monday evening, a week before the June 30 deadline.
The budget is the largest annual decision city leaders make as it maps the needs of the suburb and elected officials’ priorities for the next year. The financial plan will fund the city’s 2026 fiscal year from July 1 to June 30, 2026.
