Lakeland School System plans to begin the transition to its new district office space by next March.
The district approved the $3.5 million acquisition of a 20,000-square-foot office building at 3009 Davies Plantation Road in October, and the deal closed last month.
Superintendent Ted Horrell gave a brief update earlier this week at the district’s monthly Board of Education meeting at Lakeland City Hall.
