Lakeland City Manager Michael Walker went by himself to the city’s first Pupapalooza in the Park earlier this month to celebrate a new tradition.
He left with a new best friend.
“I was ready to greet families, thank volunteers and watch our residents and their dogs enjoy a beautiful Saturday,” he said about the adoption event at Zadie Kuehl Park on Saturday, Oct. 11. “I did not plan to come home with one.”
