Where we droppin’ boys? Navy levels up recruitment efforts with East Memphis esports facility

With esports, or video game competitions, growing at a rapid rate around the globe, the U.S. Navy is leveling up its recruitment efforts with a new state-of-the-art Esports Training Facility in East Memphis.

The Navy’s new facility located at 2650 Thousand Oaks Blvd. inside the Thousand Oaks Business Center is home to the Goats & Glory esports team.

Navy Lt. Cmdr. Aaron Jones, a member of Goats & Glory since its inception in 2020, said the idea for the training center took shape when Navy Recruiting Command, based in Millington, was searching for innovative ways to reach new markets.
