Suburban turnout slows during midday
In the eastern suburbs, two 0ld fire trucks were driving along Poplar Pike with Sherrie Hicks signs. A pickup truck with Trump flags was driving down Poplar Avenue in Collierville.
Record early turnout, a few glitches define Election Day locally
Overall, election officials were happy with the day’s process. “It was well-organized. We had a good plan and a lot of people,” Shelby County Elections Administrator Linda Phillips said.
