A new subdivision could be coming to Collierville
If the zoning is approved, a proposal will be submitted to develop 12 homes in a subdivision called Braywolf. (Abigail Warren/The Daily Memphian)
A new subdivision in Collierville could be headed to Wolf River Boulevard, but the property needs a new zoning designation before homes are considered.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold its first of three required reviews regarding the zoning change Tuesday, May 27. The board usually meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month but pushed its meeting to Tuesday due to Memorial Day.
The proposed rezoning southwest of Bray Station Road and Wolf River Boulevard is owned by Epiphany Lutheran Church, which meets in Germantown. A community garden operated by the church remains on the mostly vacant 4 acres north of a former landfill.
