Suburban schools dial up cellphone restrictions

Suburban students are back in school with some new rules regarding their cellphones, tablets, watches that can message and other devices.

A new state law forced school districts to implement policies related to students’ personal devices, not those issued by the school districts. Some suburban systems have already adopted the policies. Collierville and Germantown leaders will consider their policies Tuesday.
