The four candidates for Bartlett mayor made their final campaign stances this week at a forum.
The latest campaign disclosures show Alderman David Parsons has the most money in the four-candidate race for Bartlett mayor.
Brent Hammonds, David Parsons and Kevin Quinn discussed their qualifications and what they see as the priorities for the suburb improving. The fourth candidate — John Lackey — did not participate.

The new tax rate of $1.75 per $100 of assessed value is an increase over the certified tax rate of $1.51 set following reappraisal. The certified rate accounts for the increase in property values seen in this year’s reappraisal of property for tax purposes.
Mayor Keith McDonald’s administration believes the tax increase is necessary to maintain the city’s current services, pay current (and future) employees a more competitive wage and address its debt service.
