Beard Semifinals: Andy and Michael are up again

It’s that time of year again: The James Beard Foundation semifinalists have been announced and our local regulars have made the cut: Andrew Ticer and Michael Hudman have been nominated for Best Chef: Southeast, and Vishwesh Bhatt of the John Currence restaurant Snackbar in Oxford is on the list for Best Chef: South.

The finalists will be named March 27 and they’ll travel to Chicago for the award ceremony on May 6.
