Bond increased for woman charged with neglect of adults in bus

A Texas woman recently charged in Memphis with the neglect of six adults with intellectual disabilities had her bond increased Friday, April 11.
The Shelby County District Attorney General’s Office said in a press release Bernice Jarrett, 61, had her bond increased from $80,000 to $250,000.
Jarrett is charged with one count of aggravated neglect of a vulnerable person and five counts of neglect of a vulnerable person.
