Rodney Baber Park renovations bring excitement to community
“It’s the design of the park and the relationship of the park and the water that is (the) difference in how this park can continue to be an asset for the Frayser community and for North Memphis for years to come,” said John Zeanah, director of the Memphis-Shelby County Division of Planning and Development, during a groundbreaking ceremony Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 at Rodney Baber Park in Frayser. Neighbors and sports fans who previously appreciated the park for its baseball and softball fields have more to anticipate once construction on the project is completed.
