Coach Penny Hardaway’s Tigers will begin a home-and-home basketball series with Missouri next season, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Mikey Williams was arrested Thursday in Jamul in San Diego County, California.

Alex Simmons took pride in representing the state as a player at the University of Tennessee, and now she gets to do the same as the head women’s basketball coach at the University of Memphis. 

Haith joined coach Penny Hardaway’s staff last June after spending eight seasons as head coach at AAC foe Tulsa.

Lenard, a 6-foot-7 wing, spent the past two seasons with the Conference USA’s Blue Raiders and has three years of eligibility remaining.

Mills spent the past two seasons at Florida State after playing for former AAC foe Houston in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 campaigns.

Simmons coached five years at Gardner-Webb University and led the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament last season.

Memphis’ 2022-23 season offered plenty of shining moments.

Memphis will make its sixth Maui Jim Maui Invitational appearance in 2024.

The 2023-24 season will undoubtedly be another in which Memphis will not be the preseason favorite to win the AAC.
