New Altruria Elementary planned as Bartlett rejects costly renovation

Bartlett City Schools is moving ahead with plans to replace an aging Altruria Elementary School.

The district, which originally intended to renovate the school that opened in 1976, ultimately determined that was not the most practical direction.

Linkous Construction and 4FDesign will reveal preliminary design plans at a public meeting at the school’s gymnasium at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 12.
