Where can I get a vegan meal in Memphis? These days, almost anywhere

In 2015, Asha Immanuel made the decision to radically change her eating habits and go vegan. 

“I was becoming a mom for the first time,” she said. “It seemed like the best way meet my nutritional needs and to get my baby to eat more than fries and nuggets was to eat colorful plates myself. ... I made the change cold turkey.”

Now a mother of three, Immanuel says vegan options in Memphis have come a long way in the 10 years she has been grocery-shopping for her growing family.
