Calkins: It was an ‘insane’ two days for the Grizzlies. Can it lead to better things?

But there was Zach Edey, reaching over everyone and everything, grabbing the ball and jamming it back in the hoop.
The Grizzlies had the lead. The Los Angeles Lakers called timeout. FedEx sounded as raucous and joyous as it is supposed to sound.
And, no, that moment didn’t carry the night. The Grizzlies wound up losing their first game under interim coach Tuomas Iisalo.
But is it too much to ask for more moments like that one?
