Maeve’s Tavern is tucked into the back corner of the Collierville Town Square next to the railroad tracks on Main Street. I’ve visited the restaurant for lunch and dinner, but Sunday brunch has been on my culinary wish list since it launched earlier this year.

Leave it to an upscale Irish pub to put a spin on brunch that leaves you satisfied and craving more. And now there is more: Beginning Saturday, Dec. 13, Maeve’s Tavern will serve brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays.

The high-backed booths in the dining room are lushly upholstered, perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons and conversation. Tables are nicely sized for couples and can be put together to accommodate larger groups. On the bar side of the restaurant, cozy, curved booths face a glossy wooden bar top where everything from beer to cocktails are poured and created.
