What will be hot in food during 2025?
According to the National Restaurant Association, the five top food trends coming in the new year are: a focus on sustainability and local sourcing as well as cold brews, Korean cuisine, Vietnamese cuisine and hot honey.
Kim Severson, who covers the nation’s food culture for The New York Times, predicts sauces, savory coffees, designer fruits and vegetables plus drinks spiked with cannabis and other mood-altering components will be big in the coming year.
