Nearly three years after work began on the $62 million redesign, the Downtown Memphis space along the Mississippi River will have a formal opening Saturday, Sept. 2. Here’s what to expect.

After Eliza Fletcher’s kidnapping and killing last year, local runners' sense of security was forever changed. One woman said she had always thought she would outrun anyone who meant her harm, but she knows now that’s not true.

The suspect allegedly stole more than $10,000 worth of “gaming accessories” from a GameStop at 6223 Winchester Road in Hickory Hill, according to an affidavit.
