New Eats: Tiger football value meals

As part of the University of Memphis’ goal to improve the fan experience at Tiger football games, the school rolled out its new $7 combo meals during the team’s season home opener against Arkansas State on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The U of M defeated Arkansas, 42-24, in front of an announced sold-out crowd of 46,532 fans, but the value meals weren’t solid winners. At least not yet.
For $7, fans were told they could get a hot dog, popcorn and a drink (a bottle of water or a canned soda) or chicken tenders, chips and a drink or mac and cheese and a drink.
