His Midtown restaurant serves breakfast and lunch rooted in Southern tradition and complemented by nods to meager staples, twists on classics and Asian cooking techniques. But his menu also features typical American fare like biscuits and gravy and the Alberta breakfast — a massive platter of grits, two eggs, breakfast meats, breakfast potatoes and bread.
